Binks Smart Pumps are found at the heart of large automotive and industrial paint systems. They combine digitally controlled AC motors with patented horizontal reciprocating drive fluid sections, producing a circulating pump that uses a fraction of the energy of pneumatic pumps while treating shear-sensitive paints gently.
An asymmetric constant velocity cam ensures there is always a piston generating pressure, eliminating pulsation and the need for a surge chamber. Combined with the Binks Smart System, pressure monitoring and digital control deliver material to the point of application only when needed, reducing energy and paint consumption. EV versions are retrofittable into tight paint kitchens.
Recommended for solvent and waterborne, UV cured, shear sensitive and moisture sensitive materials in paint circulation.
